Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie has given fans fresh hope about his much-anticipated collaboration with dancehall artiste Stonebwoy, revealing that the song could be released soon.
Speaking in an interview with Doreen Avio and Kwame Dadzie on Hitz FM on Monday December 22, Sarkodie addressed growing anticipation around the project after Stonebwoy earlier confirmed they had something in the works.
“I would want that to be out like ASAP,” Sarkodie said. “We were speaking aut it. I have one verse more to do. As soon as I’m done with that, we have to give it to the people.”
The multiple award-winning rapper described the song as special, praising Stonebwoy’s creativity and input during the recording process.
“It’s beautiful. It’s crazy,” he added. “He did a lot of melodies for me to pick from, so choosing just one was difficult for me.”
Sarkodie expressed strong confidence in the collaboration, predicting it could become a major hit once released.
“It’s a great song, and I know it’s going to be one of the biggest songs that should drop,” he said.
While eager to release the track, Sarkodie noted that timing will play a key role, hinting that fans may have to wait a little longer.
“Hopefully next year, if his timing works and my timing also works, we’ll have to give it to the people,” he said.
The update has heightened excitement among fans, who are hopeful the long-awaited Sarkodie–Stonebwoy collaboration will finally arrive in 2026.
