Investigative journalist and broadcaster Godwin Asediba has officially exited Media General after three impactful years with the media conglomerate, drawing the curtain on a defining chapter of his journalism career.
Asediba announced his departure in an Instagram post on Friday, December 26, expressing gratitude for the opportunities, growth and professional relationships he gained during his time with the organisation.
“With gratitude and fond memories, I close an important chapter at Media General. It has been a privilege working with such talented people and contributing to meaningful work. Here’s to new beginnings,” he wrote.
Godwin Asediba joined Media General in 2022 and worked across its major platforms, TV3, 3FM and 3news.com — as an investigative journalist, producer and news anchor.
His tenure was marked by in-depth investigations, compelling documentaries and strong public-interest reporting, particularly in the areas of health, environment, science and community development.
