A viral video spotted by GhanaWeekend has captured self-acclaimed Dancehall King Shatta Wale calling on the public to stop making comparisons between him and fellow dancehall artiste Stonebwoy.
The comments were made during a live TikTok session on February 7, where Shatta Wale spoke about the ongoing rivalry narratives between the Shatta Movement and Bhim Nation.
According to the musician the constant back-and-forth arguments among fans are unnecessary and do not reflect his position.
“Stop arguing about Bhim Nation and us. We don’t want that,” Shatta Wale said, urging supporters not to compare him to Stonebwoy.
He further stressed that such debates often ignore his long-standing presence in the music industry, reminding viewers that his career predates Stonebwoy’s rise.
“Do you think your artiste came into this industry before me?” he asked during the session.
The remarks come amid renewed conversations sparked by recent releases from both artistes which have reignited discussions among their respective fan bases on social media.
