The Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) has officially announced Saturday, 9th May 2026 as the date for what promises to be the biggest night in Ghanaian music.
While the venue is yet to be confirmed, excitement is already building as the country prepares for the 27th edition of this prestigious music awards show.
Under the Theme “For The People. For The Culture. For The Music,” TGMA continues its mission to celebrate the very best of Ghana’s vibrant music scene, shining a spotlight on both established stars and emerging talent.
In line with this commitment, the organizers have also unveiled the criteria for the TGMA Unsung Category, which seeks to recognise talented artistes who are yet to break into mainstream success.
The call for entries for the Unsung Category will be launched soon offering aspiring musicians the opportunity to gain recognition on one of the country’s biggest musical stages.
As anticipation builds for 9th May, fans, artistes, and industry stakeholders are encouraged to save the date for an unforgettable celebration of Ghanaian music and culture.
