The media agency will leverage the cultural significance of Black History Month to reposition its latest initiative, Influential Mamas, as a platform poised to unite mothers across the diaspora and West Africa through the sharing of wisdom and lived experiences.

Motherhood may be a personal journey for some, but for most, it remains a universal experience rooted in nurturing the young. And what better time to have such conversations than during Black History Month, a celebration that provides the perfect backdrop for important discussions pertaining to togetherness and resilience? As February unfolds with a strong sense of Black pride, LR Global Media Group positions itself at the forefront of change. The agency invites West African mothers to help rejuvenate one of society’s timeless bonds through Influential Mamas.

The initiative seeks to amplify narratives of motherhood, creating a living archive that will foster exchanges between mothers in the diaspora and West Africa. Tera Carissa Hodges explains: “Black History Month presented us with the perfect opportunity to establish a sense of kinship and continuity between Black mothers in the US and those in West Africa, their ancestral home.”

A certified life coach, speaker, and new mother, Hodges believes such conversations will transform communities for the better: “No matter where we find ourselves, every mother desires the same thing: the best for their children. Whether you’re in Accra or Lagos, your experiences matter and carry insights that will be beneficial to your fellow sisters in New York, Los Angeles, and more.” She urges West African mothers to submit testimonies, tips, and traditions that will inspire and strengthen bonds across cultures.

Founded by Tera Carissa Hodges, LR (Life, Lifestyle, and Labels Redefined) Global Media Group is a media agency dedicated to producing uplifting media. Since its inception in 2016, it has created platforms such as This Is My Testimony, which helps people to not be confined by their past, and Success Bullying, which empowers career women. Its latest addition, Influential Mamas, continues its mission of being a faith-based vessel, this time, running under the theme: “Mamas positively influencing other mamas to positively impact the next generation.”

Remember, your story matters! Join the movement. Share your story and help shape the future of Black motherhood across generations. Interested mothers can visit www.influentialmamas.com and head to the “contact us” page for more information.
