Ghanaian music icon Kojo Antwi has revealed that he has two completed albums ready for release but is waiting for the right moment to share them with the world.
Speaking on The Citi Breakfast Show with Bernard Avle on Thursday February 12, he said he was intentional about how and when he releases his music.
“I don’t like releasing singles so I take my time to bring my projects out because my music is timeless,” he stated.
According to Kojo Antwi, his approach has always been centered on delivering cohesive well-crafted albums rather than sporadic singles.
He believes the atmosphere and timing surrounding a release are just as important as the music itself, which is why he is holding back until the conditions feel right.
With two albums already completed, listeners can expect a carefully curated body of work that reflects his signature timeless sound.
Kojo Antwi made the revelation ahead of the launch of his book, Mr. Music Man: The Journey, set for February 13 at the Labadi Beach Hotel.
