Ghanaian songstress Gyakie has shown heartfelt appreciation to key media houses across the country as part of her ongoing media tour, presenting them with special citations and gifts in recognition of their consistent support throughout her career.

During her visits to several television and radio stations, the award-winning artiste took time to personally acknowledge the pivotal role the media has played in amplifying her music, promoting her projects and connecting her to a broader audience.

It was a two-day visit, during which the team toured several media houses. Notable stops included Channel One TV, Media General, Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GTV), GHOne TV, and Metro TV.

The team also visited Despite Media, Multimedia Group, Y FM, MX24, Influencer Africa, and the New Media Association.

At each stop, Gyakie expressed gratitude not only to the individual stations but also to the broader media fraternity, recognising presenters, producers and content teams who have consistently supported her work through interviews, airplay and feature coverage.

She emphasised that behind every successful music release is a strong network of media professionals who help shape public engagement and ensure the music reaches diverse audiences.

By presenting citations and tokens of appreciation, she sought to formally honour their contribution to her journey.

The gesture underscores the symbiotic relationship between artistes and media institutions within Ghana’s creative ecosystem.

In an industry where visibility, narrative framing and audience engagement are critical to growth, collaboration and mutual respect remain essential pillars of sustained success.

Gyakie’s thoughtful move has been widely applauded as a reminder of the power of partnership in the entertainment industry — highlighting that success is often built on collective effort and enduring professional relationships.
