Ghanaian musician Kofi Jamar has opened up about what appears to be a dispute with his record label GadOne Records.
The artiste first hinted at deeper struggles on his X (formerly Twitter) page with a cryptic message: “Fighting for my life and it’s deeper than music.” Fans quickly speculated that Kofi Jamar’s challenges extended beyond the studio.
Later, he clarified his frustrations in an Instagram story, alleging unfair treatment by the label after seven years of collaboration. He emphasised that he has been seeking closure and a rightful split of his work, but his efforts have reportedly been ignored.

“At this point, I’m just going to ignore and move on. Let it be known that I tried,” he wrote, suggesting that the dispute has been ongoing and unresolved for some time.
The revelation sheds light on persistent tensions between Kojo Jamar and GadOne Records, raising questions about artist-label relationships in Ghana’s music industry. As of now, the label has yet to issue a public statement addressing the claims.
Fans are closely monitoring the situation, hoping for a resolution that acknowledges the contributions and rights of the artiste.
