Ghanaian singer Moliy is flying the nation’s flag high at the 43rd edition of the International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA) securing four major nominations.
Moliy leads Ghana’s representation at this year’s awards earning recognition across competitive categories that spotlight her growing influence on the global music scene.
She has been nominated for the Jimmy Cliff Award for Best Crossover Entertainer and the Dennis Brown Award for Most Promising Entertainer, highlighting her expanding international appeal and rising profile within reggae and world music circles.
Her hit single “Shake It to the Max” also received strong recognition. The song is nominated for Best Music Video, as well as Best R&B/Hip Hop Collaboration Reggae Song, alongside Jamaican stars Shenseea and Skillibeng.
The nominations mark a significant milestone for Moliy reinforcing her position as one of Ghana’s fast-rising global exports and underscoring the country’s growing footprint in reggae and world music.
