2MG Music Foundation, led by renowned record producer and sound engineer, Mix Master Garzy, marked Ghana’s 69th Independence Day with its flagship charity event at the Motherly Love Orphanage Home.
Held in Dome-Kwabenya, Accra, the day was filled with joy as children participated in various interactive activities, such as dance competitions, quiz sessions, and a talent showcase.

Winners were presented with medals and cash. The highlight of the day was a surprise musical performance by award-winning Ghanaian singer, Kuami Eugene, accompanied by other talented artists including Mophty, Maya Blu, Blakid, Jamayy and Afro Genix.

Beyond the fun, the foundation made a substantial donation to the home. The donation included cash, provisions, and essential household items, made possible through the generous support of sponsors such as Everest Ghana, Bigooo Drinks, Verna Mineral Water, Gilsan Manufacturing Limited Company, Rych Entertainment and Goody’s Lovely Shito.
This initiative forms part of 2MG Music Foundation’s continued commitment to uplifting vulnerable communities through the power of music. For years, 2MG Music Foundation has remained consistent in its mission, using music as a transformative tool to bring hope and emotional upliftment to children in orphanages and underserved communities across Ghana.
