The spiritual overlord of the Ga State, Gborbu Wulomo-Shitse, has summoned the family head of the late highlife legend Daddy Lumba following circulating claims regarding the singer’s burial location in East Legon.
A notice issued by the Nungua Gborbu Wulomoi raised concerns over the burial of the highlife icon on Ga land.
The notice preceded a statement by Counsellor Lutthrodt on asserting that Daddy Lumba’s body had been interred at his private residence in East Legon.
In line with Ga traditional procedures, the family head was directed to report before the Gborbu Wulomo-Shitse on Thursday, March 13, at 11 a.m. to provide the necessary information to address the concerns raised.
The spiritual overlord emphasised the importance of full transparency and adherence to cultural protocols, particularly in matters involving the burial of prominent figures within the community.
