The ongoing tensions within the family of Daddy Lumba show no signs of easing, as fresh legal action continues to stall plans for a “Celebration of Life” event.
The head of the family, Abusuapanyin Victor Owusu Kofi, popularly known as Abusuapanyin Tupac, secured a court injunction against the planned ceremony, further deepening the dispute.
According to a notice issued by the family’s legal representatives, Baba Jamal & Associates, the injunction restrains Nana Yaw Akosa, widely known as Papa Shee, Akosua Serwaa Schindler (also known as Akosua Serwaa), and Ernestina Fosuh (Bempomaa) from proceeding with the event.

The event, which was being organised by Daddy Lumba’s first wife, Akosua Serwaa, had been scheduled to take place on March 28 and 29 at Independence Square.
However, the court’s directive has effectively halted all preparations and activities related to the celebration for now.
The notice further emphasised that any disregard for the court order could result in contempt of court.
