The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced the immediate dismissal of Black Stars Head Coach Otto Addo.
In a statement shared on its official Facebook page, the GFA said, “The Association wishes to thank Otto Addo sincerely for his contribution to the team and wishes him the best of luck in his future endeavours.”
The statement added, “The Ghana Football Association will communicate the new technical direction of the Black Stars in due course.”
The decision follows a series of disappointing results, including recent defeats to Austria and Germany in international friendlies, raising concerns about the team’s form and readiness ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The move marks a new chapter for the national team as preparations continue for upcoming international competitions.
