Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has bestowed his royal blessings on rapper and entrepreneur Okyeame Kwame during a courtesy visit to the Manhyia Palace in support of the musician’s paediatric emergency centre initiative.

The visit forms part of activities marking Okyeame Kwame’s milestone Ok@50 celebration, a campaign that reflects not only on his legacy in music but also his commitment to impactful social interventions.

Central to this celebration is the establishment of an emergency paediatric centre to improve access to urgent healthcare services for children in Manhyia, Ashanti Region.

During the engagement, Okyeame Kwame shared his vision for the project, emphasising the urgent need for dedicated emergency care facilities for children.

He noted that the initiative seeks to bridge critical gaps in paediatric healthcare delivery, particularly in emergency response and treatment.

Otumfuo Osei Tutu II commended the artiste for leveraging his platform and influence toward a cause that directly benefits society.

The revered traditional leader offered blessings for the artiste and the success of the project, urging other public figures to emulate such efforts that contribute meaningfully to national development.

Okyeame Kwame’s gesture underscores a growing trend of Ghanaian creatives using their influence to drive social change, reinforcing the role of entertainment figures as agents of development.

As preparations for the Ok@50 celebrations continue, the paediatric emergency centre stands out as a legacy project, one that promises to make a lasting impact on the lives of many children and families.
