Rising artiste Alor G has recounted a memorable encounter with rap icon Sarkodie, disclosing how the award-winning musician stepped in to support him after he lost his phone.
Speaking in an interview on 3Music TV on Friday, April 17, Alor G narrated that the incident happened at a time when his phone, containing his music and important data, went missing, leaving him stranded.
According to him, efforts were made to locate the device, including announcements at the venue where he was, but all proved futile.
Recounting the moment, Alor G said he was later called to the car park, where he unexpectedly encountered Sarkodie.
“I didn’t even see Sarkodie at first, but he was standing there. When I got there, I was surprised. He spoke to me about my energy and asked if everything was okay,” he shared.
The young artiste explained that after telling Sarkodie about the situation, the rapper immediately decided to help.
“He just said, ‘You know what,’ and then he gave me money on the spot,” Alor G revealed, declining to disclose the exact amount but describing it as “big money.”
The gesture, he noted, came as a huge relief, especially considering the importance of the lost phone to his music career.
