The Governor of the Bank of Ghana Dr. Johnson Pandit Asiama, has assured Ghanaian content creators on X that the central bank is ready to support them in resolving any challenges related to the receipt of their digital platform payouts.
The Governor gave the assurance during an engagement with content creators at the Bank Square on Wednesday, April 22.
Dr. John Asiama stressed that the central bank places a high value on the work of content creators, likening their contribution to traditional export sectors such as cocoa.
He noted that the Bank is open and accessible to help resolve any payout-related challenges they may encounter.
“If you have any issues with your payouts, we are ready to help,” the Governor said. “We are making ourselves accessible so that we resolve all the issues that you have.”
Dr. John Asiama encouraged the creators to form a structured association to facilitate coordinated engagement with regulators and ensure that issues are addressed more efficiently and at an early stage.
According to him, the BoG is committed to supporting their work and will take steps to ensure a smoother operating environment.
“We are interested in what you are doing and will do everything to facilitate your work,” he added.
