Afro-dancehall star Stonebwoy has opened up about an alternative career path he might have taken if music had not worked out.
In a recent interview in London, the ‘Jejereje’ hitmaker disclosed that he has always been drawn to the military, citing his admiration for its discipline and structure.
“Personally, I would have loved to be a soldier. I just love the uniform and the discipline that comes with it. It fascinates me,” he said.
He explained that his upbringing played a key role in shaping this interest, noting that his father, a former military officer, instilled in him strong values of discipline and orderliness.
Stonebwoy also admitted that his decision to pursue music initially caused some tension with his father, but the situation has since been resolved.
“I had a little hurdle with my dad at first, but now it’s what it is. You can’t stop what it’s supposed to be,” he added.
