Ghanaian business mogul Richard Nii Armah Quaye, popularly known as RNAQ, has denied allegations of physically abusing his ex-wife, describing the claims as baseless and part of a calculated attempt to damage his reputation.

In an exclusive interview with media personality Deloris Frimpong Manso on The Delay Show, RNAQ addressed the widely circulated accusations suggesting he had assaulted his former spouse, Joana.

“I can’t even beat my children, not to even beat my wife. I have never beaten my wife before,” he stated.

RNAQ also acknowledged a viral video linked to the accusations but questioned both its authenticity and intent, insisting it does not implicate him in any wrongdoing.

“I have seen that video circulating, which talks about me beating my wife, and, as I said, there is a clear agenda against me. I don’t know where they got that video from,” he said.

Casting doubt on the footage’s credibility, he pointed out how easily visuals can be manipulated in today’s digital era.

“In today’s world, people can even do makeup that looks like someone has been beaten. She may have had an encounter with someone and gotten a swollen face and used it in a video. Because you see, that purported video people believe in, I did not appear in it.”

He further expressed concern over how quickly the public concludes without thorough verification, describing the situation as deeply unfair.

“I keep watching the video and I ask myself, does it mean anyone who comes to make allegations about me would be believed? How can we live in a society like this? This is cruelty. Anyone who believed that video and concluded I was responsible has done a great injustice to me.”

The businessman maintains that the allegations are unfounded and continues to call for a more critical and fact-based approach to such claims.
