Ghana has officially witnessed a historic cultural crossover as the Ibiza Soca Festival and Scorch Magazine partnered to bring the Karnival Kingdom experience to the country for the very first time.
The six-day celebration transformed Accra into a vibrant hub of Caribbean music, dance, and culture an experience that has since dominated conversations across social media platforms in Ghana.
The main event took place at the Polo Beach Club, located within the iconic Labadi Beach Hotel, where the city’s coastline was turned into a high-energy carnival ground blending music, fashion, and nonstop entertainment.
While many locals initially missed the scale of the event, highlights from the festivities quickly went viral, flooding timelines and sparking widespread excitement.
A major highlight of the event was The Accra Carnival that started from the Blackstar Square to the Labadi Beach and a powerful performance from soca legend Machel Montano alongside other international acts, including Muddy Original and Trilla, who delivered high-energy sets that lit up the stages across the capital.
