Traditional priest Kwaku Bonsam has disclosed that more married women than men visit him daily for spiritual assistance, popularly referred to as ‘juju.’
In an interview with Joy Prime, Kwaku Bonsam said many of the women seek spiritual help to keep their husbands faithful and maintain their marriages.
According to him, the growing trend is largely driven by fears that younger women, including students, are becoming involved with married men.
“Women come more. Looking at the statistics, about 25 married women visit me every day. Most of them want their partners to love them so much. These days, young school girls are snatching people’s husbands.”
The traditional priest also stressed that physical appearance and self-care play a major role in sustaining relationships, adding that some women wrongly believe spiritual charms alone can solve marital problems.
Kwaku Bonsam explained that he often advises women to improve their grooming and appearance rather than depend entirely on spiritual intervention.
“It’s not the spiritual charm; it’s the dressing, because she changed his hair, did the nails, wearing a sexy outfit,” he stated.
He noted that taking care of one’s appearance can help strengthen emotional attraction and improve relationships between couples.
