Ghanaian actor Adjetey Anang has emphasised the importance of proper management in the entertainment industry, stating that it helps artistes concentrate on their craft.
Speaking in an interview with Felicia Osei on Onua FM on Wednesday May 6, 2026, Adjetey Anang disclosed that he has been under the management of Lynx Entertainment for some years.
“Lynx Entertainment has been managing me for some years now,” he said.
According to the actor, having a management team eases the burden on artistes by handling negotiations, logistics and other administrative duties.
“Being under management also allows us, the artistes, to focus on what we’re supposed to do. We wouldn’t have to go and negotiate, think of where we would sleep and other stuff,” he explained.
Adjetey Anang added that when artists try to manage every aspect of their careers themselves, it can take away time needed to improve their talent and skills.
“If that happens, it takes quality time away from you. Maybe time to learn or time to improve on your skill, then you will be handling things someone is supposed to handle,” he stated.
He further noted that professional management can contribute significantly to the growth and success of entertainers.
“That really helps when you’re under management,” he added.
