The Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) has officially confirmed a high-profile lineup of international artists set to perform at the opening ceremony of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The announcement reveals a diverse mix of global music stars reflecting the tournament’s expanded cultural and entertainment ambitions.

The lineup includes acclaimed Canadian crooner Michael Bublé, rock icon Alanis Morissette, and pop singer Alessia Cara.

The show will also feature global pop sensation Katy Perry alongside American rapper Future adding a strong contemporary music presence to the ceremony.

Additional performances will come from DJ Sanjoy known for his fusion of electronic and South Asian sounds and LISA of the global K-pop group BLACKPINK who continues to build a strong solo international profile.

The 2026 World Cup is already shaping up to be one of the most expansive editions in the tournament’s history not only in terms of participating teams and venues but also in entertainment scale.

With a globally recognised lineup and major commemorative events planned, FIFA aims to position the opening ceremony as a major entertainment spectacle that reflects the worldwide reach of football.

The 2026 tournament will be jointly hosted across the United States, Canada, and Mexico, further reinforcing its global appeal and cultural diversity.
