Medikal has announced plans to tour all 16 regions of Ghana following his impressive 4 wins at the 27th edition of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA).
The rapper announced during his acceptance speech after winning the Most Popular Song of the Year award on May 9, where he called on sponsors and corporate organisations to support the initiative.
“I’m touring the 16 regions this year and I urge everyone, all the sponsors on this show, to come through and let’s do this together.”
Medikal used the moment to express gratitude to fans, organisers, and collaborators who contributed to his success over the years.
He also acknowledged producer A-Town and dancehall musician Shatta Wale for their support on one of his recent songs, which he described as a worldwide hit.
The award-winning rapper recounted how the song originated from a spontaneous studio session after he randomly decided to visit the studio while feeling bored.
He further dedicated the success of the track to supporters from different communities.
