Musician Beeztrap KOTM has opened up about his experience at this year’s Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA), disclosing that, unlike last year, he attended the event with a much more relaxed mindset.
Speaking in an interview with Hitz FM on Tuesday, May 12, the artiste said this year’s awards night was all about enjoyment and entertainment for him.
According to Beeztrap KOTM, his experience at this year’s edition was significantly different from the previous edition, where he attended with the pressure of competing for the New Artiste of the Year award while also preparing to perform on the big stage.
“It was fun because this year, I actually went there to have fun. Compared to last year, which was tough because I went there to win an award for the New Artiste of the Year and also to perform, but this year was very flexible, so I just went to have fun, chill and also watch people perform,” he said.
The artiste added that several videos making rounds on social media captured moments of him enjoying himself throughout the ceremony.
“There are videos circulating of me having fun,” he added.
This year’s TGMA, held at the Accra International Conference Centre on Saturday, May 9, brought together some of Ghana’s biggest music stars and entertainment personalities for a night of performances, awards and celebrations.
