Comedian and actor Funny Face has opened up about the current state of his relationship with some of the high-profile personalities who supported him through difficult times, saying he understands why some have kept their distance.
Speaking in an interview with Headless YouTuber, Funny Face addressed his relationship with media personality Bola Ray, businessman Osei Kwame Despite and former footballer Emmanuel Adebayor, all of whom have publicly supported him in the past.
When asked whether he was trying to reconnect with them, the comedian said he was gradually rebuilding those relationships but understood their caution.
“I’m fixing it, but naturally, I understand them. They are humans. Now they are watching you from afar. It’s just a matter of time,” he said.
Funny Face admitted that his actions during his difficult period may have caused people around him to become careful about getting close again.
According to him, while he personally knows he has changed and is rebuilding his life, others may need time to be convinced.
The actor added that despite the distance, he believes those who know him understand that his actions during that period were not a reflection of who he truly is.
“They are seeing it. All of them are seeing it, and deep within them, they know this is not you,” he said.
Funny Face has, in recent years, publicly battled mental health challenges, with several episodes straining relationships with close friends and supporters.
His latest comments suggest a focus on healing, rebuilding trust and restoring important connections in his life.
