In a statement released on Sunday, May 24, by Cine-God Studios on behalf of the Afaglo family, management confirmed the actress passed away in the early hours of Sunday at the International Maritime Hospital in Tema after what was described as a long battle with cancer.
The statement also announced arrangements for her one week observance, scheduled for Saturday, May 30, 2026, at the Green Flavour Events Centre, Community 9, Tema, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The family further appealed to the public for prayers, support and privacy as they navigate what they described as a painful period.
“The family respectfully requests prayers, support, and privacy as they mourn this painful loss and make arrangements for her final rites,” the statement said.
Management added that additional details concerning funeral arrangements would be communicated in due course while expressing gratitude to friends, colleagues and well-wishers for their support.
