Following the death of actress Beverly Afaglo, several celebrities, friends and colleagues within the movie industry have taken to social media to mourn her and share heartfelt tributes in honour of her life and legacy.

Sharing memories from nearly two decades ago, he disclosed that he first met Beverly on the set of ‘About to Wed’ in Dzorwulu alongside Prince David Osei and Yvonne Okyere.
According to him, Beverly later recommended him for a role that became a turning point in his career.
“Bev calls and says, ‘John, call Salam [movie producer], they need someone to play the role of a King.’ That’s how I got to star in the movie ‘King is Mine’ and the rest they say is history,” he wrote.
John added that Beverly’s contribution to his journey would never be forgotten.
“Thanks so much Bev for playing a significant role in my acting career. One day when I decide to write a book, your name will fill pages,” he said.
Actress Nadia Buari also shared an emotional reflection on life, kindness and loss. In her tribute, she urged people to be more compassionate and not take life for granted.
“We move through our days assuming there’s always more time… More time to say thank you. More time to check in,” she wrote.
