Actress Pascaline Edwards has opened up about unusual experiences she had during her childhood, revealing that she used to see things other people around her could not see.

Speaking in an interview with Zionfelix on YouTube, sighted by Ghanaweekend on Thursday, May 18, the actress said she became aware at a very young age that she was different from other children.

According to Pascaline Edwards, people often described her as an “old soul” because of the way she behaved and spoke while growing up.

“Sometimes when a child is born, people say she’s reincarnated or acting like an elderly person because of how she behaves, acts, and talks, that is me. I’m an old soul and I have been on this earth before,” she stated.

The actress recounted that while walking with friends as a child, she would sometimes see people or things approaching them, assuming everyone else could also see them.

“In my childhood, I could be walking with my friends and then I could see people coming towards us when we’re walking and so because I didn’t know who I really was, I assumed my friends were seeing what I was too,” she explained.

However, she later realised she was the only one seeing those things after her friends repeatedly questioned her about what she meant.

“I came to realise I was the only one seeing it,” she added.

She further disclosed that whenever she tried talking about her experiences, adults often silenced her and warned her against saying such things.

“So it was to a point that if I said I was seeing something, people shut me up and told me kids don’t say such things and eventually I grew up seeing but not talking,” she disclosed.

Wanting answers, she said she later spoke to some pastors about the experiences, but she often disagreed with the explanations they gave her.

“And I wanted to find out why I was seeing things that people weren’t, so I spoke to some pastors, but usually, with the explanations they give, I tell them it’s not so, which became like a challenge because I knew what I was seeing.”
