Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon, John Dumelo, has thrown a challenge to football fans ahead of Ghana’s opening FIFA World Cup match against Panama, offering attractive prizes to those who correctly predict the outcome of the game.
In a Facebook post shared on Wednesday, June 17, Dumelo announced that fans who accurately predict the scoreline between Ghana and Panama stand a chance of winning rewards, including laptops, deep freezers and mobile phones.
“Predict the scores between Ghana and Panama and I will give u a reward. From laptops to deep freezers to mobile phones. All predictions must be commented under this post before 11 pm today.”
The legislator also encouraged residents of Ayawaso West Wuogon to show their support for the Black Stars by displaying the Ghana flag in front of their homes and shops.
“Also, just put a Ghana flag in front of your shop or home in Ayawaso West and I will reward you when I spot you. Go Black Stars go!! idey4u,” he added.
The announcement has sparked excitement among football lovers, with many flocking to the comment section of the post to submit their predictions ahead of the crucial encounter.
