Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has disclosed that he has invested significantly in the lives of his two baby mamas, providing them with houses and cars registered in their names.
Speaking in an interview on The Bonah Show, Shatta Wale said he believes in helping the women in his life acquire assets while he is alive rather than waiting to distribute his wealth through a will.
According to him, he has ensured that both mothers of his children are financially sound through properties and other investments.
Citing his former partner, Shatta Michy, he said she cannot claim that he failed to support her because he gave her $65,000 to purchase and complete a house project and also bought her a car.
“Shatta Michy can’t sit somewhere and say I’ve not given her $65,000 to buy a house. I saw that they were building and asked them to complete it. I’ve bought her a car.”
The musician further disclosed that his first baby mama owns two cars and that he is currently building another house for her, stressing that all the properties are legally registered in her name.
“My first baby’s mother has two cars. Recently, I’ve been trying to build another house for her to go and stay in. It’s her house; everything is in her name. She’s not even a wife; she’s a baby mama.”
Shatta Wale maintained that every property he has acquired for the mothers of his children belongs solely to them, giving them full ownership and control over the assets.
“Every property I bought for them was registered in their names, so it’s theirs. They can sell them or do whatever they want to do with the properties.”
