Entrepreneur and socialite Seth Richard Brown, popularly known as Osebo the Zaraman, has disclosed that six bodyguards attached to the residence of Kwadwo Safo Jnr have been arrested following the shooting of former Dome-Kwabenya MP Sarah Adwoa Safo.
Speaking in an interview with GhanaWeekend, Osebo confirmed reports that the former lawmaker was shot on Sunday, June 21, near her brother’s residence.
“Some of his bodyguards have been arrested,” Osebo said.
“The police just took them away. So at the moment, we haven’t heard anything. We are still waiting for the police to come up with something.”
He alleged that Adwoa Safo was shot while sitting in a vehicle outside the residence.
“She has been shot by her brother’s bodyguards right in front of her brother’s house.”
Providing an update on her condition, Osebo said the former MP is receiving medical treatment and is stable.
“She’s very okay. She’s at the hospital.”
Osebo explained that the injuries were caused by pellets from what he believed was a pump-action gun.
“I think it was a pump action. When you shoot, the way it spreads. She was in the car and it shot her. Some of the bullets caused injuries under her neck and her chest.”
He added that, although Adwoa Safo sustained injuries and was bleeding after the incident, her condition is not critical.
“Not too much injury, but an injury is an injury. This one is not too serious.”
