Ghanaian Guinness World Record-holding eco-artist Sharon Dede Padi, popularly known as Padiki, has reportedly died after a short illness.
According to reports, the celebrated artist passed away in the early hours of Tuesday, July 7. The exact cause of death has not yet been disclosed.
Padiki was widely recognised for her innovative approach to art and environmental advocacy.
She gained international acclaim after setting the Guinness World Record for the Largest Leaf Print Painting, cementing her place as one of Ghana’s most accomplished visual artists.
She also earned admiration for creating a live painting for His Majesty King Mswati III of the Kingdom of Eswatini, a performance that showcased her talent on the international stage.
