Family, friends, colleagues, clients, and members of Ghana’s fashion industry will gather today [Friday, July 10] to bid a final farewell to celebrated fashion designer Halimatu Sadia Sanusi.
According to details shared on her official business page, the final funeral rites will begin with a lying-in-state at the ICGC Christ Temple East, where loved ones will have the opportunity to pay their last respects.
The lying-in-state will be followed by a memorial and burial service to celebrate her life, achievements, and immense contributions to Ghana’s fashion industry.
A private interment and family funeral rites will take place afterwards.
A thanksgiving service has also been scheduled for Sunday, July 12, at the same venue.
Mourners attending both the funeral and thanksgiving services are expected to observe a black dress code.
