Sister of the late Highlife legend Daddy Lumba, Faustina Fosuh, has confirmed that the celebrated musician was buried at his private residence in East Legon, ending months of speculation over his final resting place.
Speaking during a private ceremony to mark one year since the musician’s passing, Faustina Fosuh revealed that the family laid the Highlife icon to rest in a mausoleum within his East Legon home.
“He was buried in this house. I want to tell the entire world, not just Ghanaians, that anyone who wants to see the tomb of my late brother or visit his burial place should come to his East Legon residence. This is where he was laid to rest. My brother was my provider, but now that he is gone, there is no one left to support me.”

The commemoration brought together family members and close associates to celebrate the life and enduring legacy of the man born Charles Kwadwo Fosu.
Daddy Lumba died on July 26, 2025, at The Bank Hospital in Accra at the age of 60.
