Family, friends and close associates of Highlife legend, Charles Kwadwo Fosu, popularly known as Daddy Lumba, gathered at his private residence in East Legon to mark one year since his passing.
The private remembrance ceremony, held at the residence, revealed that the music icon was buried there, with his tomb located within a mausoleum at the property.
The final resting place of the Highlife legend was unveiled during the ceremony.
In attendance were his second wife, Priscilla Ofori, popularly known as Odo Broni, and some of Daddy Lumba’s children, who joined other loved ones to celebrate his life and legacy.
Daddy Lumba died on July 26, 2025, at The Bank Hospital in Accra at the age of 60.
He left behind a remarkable musical catalogue that continues to influence generations of Ghanaian music lovers.
