Ghanaian dancer and content creator Endurance Grand has secured a role in the highly anticipated Hollywood fantasy film Children of Blood and Bone, marking another major milestone in her growing international career.
The announcement was made alongside behind-the-scenes footage from the production ahead of the release of the film’s official trailer.
The fantasy epic is scheduled to premiere in theatres and IMAX worldwide on 15 January 2027.
Although details of Endurance Grand’s character have not yet been disclosed, her inclusion in the star-studded production is expected to further elevate Ghana’s presence on the global entertainment stage.
Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Gina Prince-Bythewood, ‘Children of Blood and Bone’ is based on the bestselling novel by Nigerian-American author Tomi Adeyemi and tells the story of a young woman fighting to restore magic to the kingdom of Orïsha.
The film features an impressive ensemble cast, including Viola Davis, Idris Elba, Cynthia Erivo, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Lashana Lynch, Richard Mofe-Damijo, Ayra Starr and Damson Idris.
The announcement comes amid growing excitement surrounding the project following the release of its first teaser and the confirmation that Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Tems will serve as the film’s executive music producer and soundtrack curator, with Burna Boy joining as executive music consultant.
Children of Blood and Bone is one of Hollywood’s most anticipated fantasy releases and is set to hit cinemas worldwide on 15 January 2027.
