Musician Sparqlyn has once again received recognition for his consistency and contribution to the music industry.
The talented music star secured multiple nominations at the second Golden Stars Awards 2026 scheduled to take place on Saturday, September 5, at Emkay Paradise City in Tema Newtown.
Sparqlyn who continues to build an impressive solo career for himself ever since he left the award-winning group Dunsin, got nominations in the categories of African Cultural Leadership & Music Excellence Award, African Legacy Icon Award, and Pan-African Creative & Social Impact Award.
These latest nominations further highlight the impact Sparqlyn has made over the years through his music, stage performances and unwavering dedication to promoting Ghanaian music beyond the country’s borders.

Also, this latest recognition comes on the back of an already impressive year he is having as an artiste in 2026.
One of his biggest highlights this year has been the release of his love tune that is a highlife single titled “Fameko” that features Ziya.
The song which showcases Sparqlyn’s versatility has received a lot of positive plaudits from music lovers, with many praising its unique instrumentation and relatable lyrics.
Aside this new nomination from Golden Stars Awards, the musician has also recently picked up a lot of notable honours, including the African Best Ghanaian Musician of the Year award at the African Performance Leadership Awards (APLA), as well as recognition from MUSIGA for his contributions to the Ghanaian music industry.
All these achievements have gone a very long way to further strengthen his reputation as one of Ghana’s respected contemporary artistes.
