Former Ghana’s Most Beautiful contestant and 2013 first runner-up, Bubune Titiati-Tsikata, has died.
Her death was announced in a post on her Facebook page on Wednesday, August 12.
“It is with a heavy heart that we write about the passing of Bubune Titiati-Tsikata,” the post said, describing her as a “beloved former Ghana’s Most Beautiful contestant who represented the Volta Region in 2013.”
Bubune captured the hearts of many Ghanaians during the competition, emerging as the first runner-up.
The post also highlighted her courage during her battle with cancer, noting that she had been receiving intensive medical care before her passing.
“Her passing is a painful loss to her family, friends, loved ones and everyone who followed her journey,” the post added.
Bubune’s death marks a sad loss for the Ghanaian pageantry community and the Volta Region she proudly represented.
