Presidential Envoy on Interfaith and Ecumenical Relations, Elvis Afriyie Ankrah, has led a delegation sent by President John Dramani Mahama to visit Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi at the hospital following reports of his collapse.
Elvis Afriyie Ankrah disclosed the visit in a Facebook post on Wednesday, August 12.
He said the delegation conveyed President Mahama’s concern, goodwill and prayers for the preacher’s recovery.
“On behalf of the President, we conveyed our concern, goodwill and prayers for his swift recovery,” Afriyie Ankrah wrote.
According to him, Prophet Badu Kobi expressed appreciation for the President’s gesture.

The visit comes after reports surfaced online that the founder of Glorious Wave Church International had collapsed and been hospitalised, with calls for support from President Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
