Award-winning musician MOG Music has made history as the first Ghanaian gospel artiste to headline a concert at the OVO Arena Wembley in London.
The achievement came during his “MOG Music Live In London” concert, which attracted thousands of worshippers to the iconic Wembley venue for a night of worship, praise and gospel music.
MOG Music becomes the second Ghanaian artiste overall to headline a show at the OVO Arena Wembley, following dancehall artiste Stonebwoy’s historic performance at the venue.
The concert featured performances from some of Ghana’s leading gospel musicians, including gospel star Joe Mettle, who joined MOG Music in leading the audience in worship.
Ahead of the highly anticipated concert, MOG Music revealed the extent of the personal sacrifice he made to bring the event to life.
The musician disclosed that he had to sell his car and that of his wife to support the project, highlighting his determination to see the concert become a reality.
According to MOG Music, he had also been nursing the ambition to host a major concert at the venue for about two years before finally bringing the vision to fruition.
The night ultimately ended on a high as thousands of worshippers filled the OVO Arena Wembley, singing, dancing and lifting their voices in worship.
