Miss Universe Ghana has entered a new era under new management, with auditions and screening for the 2026 edition scheduled for Wednesday, September 2, 2026.
The franchise says the new direction is aimed at building a stronger and more globally competitive platform for Ghanaian women while positioning the country more prominently on the international Miss Universe stage.
The organisation is seeking a titleholder with “presence, intelligence, character, ambition, purpose” and the ability to represent Ghana confidently on the global stage.
Beyond the pageant, Miss Universe Ghana says it will provide contestants with training, mentorship, personal and professional development, exposure and opportunities designed to help them pursue their ambitions beyond the competition.
The eventual winner will represent Ghana at the Miss Universe pageant and serve as an ambassador for Ghanaian women, culture and aspirations.
With a shortened preparation period for the 2026 edition, organisers say the programme will focus on quality, preparation and selecting an exceptional representative for Ghana.
