Afrobeats superstar King Promise has just done what no Ghanaian artiste has done before by recording the official Chelsea Football Club soundtrack for the 2026/27 season.
The song is titled “Can’t Tame Us (Chelsea Anthem)”, and it was officially released on September 29, 2026, under Sony Music West Africa/5 Star Entertainment.
This is Chelsea FC tapping a Ghanaian artiste as their sound for the season.
King Promise first broke the news in an interview with SportyFM Ghana earlier in September. The lifelong Chelsea fan revealed he had a full partnership with Chelsea.
“Obviously, I’m a Chelsea fan. I do have a partnership with Chelsea Football Club… I’ve done the official song for Chelsea Football Club for this season,” he said.
According to him, the anthem is just one part of the activations; there’s also a documentary being shot in Ghana, a music video, and even a tournament to cap it all off.
Chelsea confirmed it on their official pages, sharing the video with the caption “A song for the Blues across the continent. A celebration of African culture” showing a Chelsea jersey hanging on a washing line with a Ghana flag in the corner.

“Can’t Tame Us” is just under 2 minutes, with pure Afrobeats energy mixed with football anthem vibes.
Produced by Ray Michael Djan Jr, Gideon Frempong and Joseph Baxter, it blends King Promise’s signature melodic style with chant-like energy perfect for Stamford Bridge.
The club has confirmed the song will be played at every Chelsea home game throughout the 2026/27 season.
It’s already live on YouTube, Apple Music and all streaming platforms.
