Rapper Sarkodie has addressed the biggest question on the lips of Ghanaians on X: what if he doesn’t fill the O2 Arena in 2027?
Speaking in an interview with Serwaa Amihere, the rapper said he is done letting public pressure dictate his moves.
“If you don’t fill it, you don’t fill it,” Sarkodie said.
Sarkodie announced the bold move back in March this year, right after making history as the first Ghanaian artiste to sell out the 5,300-capacity Royal Albert Hall on Ghana’s Independence Day, March 6.
On that night, he told fans Rapperholic was going to The O2 Arena, a 20,000-capacity venue, on March 6, 2027. It would make him the first African rapper to headline his own show there.
Sarkodie says he hears all of it, but he’s not moved.
