Reports have emerged claiming that veteran actor and broadcaster Seth Kwame Dzokoto, popularly known for his roles in Efiewura and Edziban, has died.
According to the circulating reports, the actor allegedly collapsed while participating in a panel discussion on Owass Radio in Tarkwa and was subsequently rushed to a hospital, where he was reportedly pronounced dead on arrival.
However, the circumstances surrounding the reported incident remain unverified, and confirmation from his family or the relevant authorities is yet to be established.
Dzokoto, who has built a reputation in Ghana’s entertainment industry through his work in television, comedy and broadcasting, remains a familiar figure to audiences who followed his performances in popular local productions.
His role in Efiewura earned him recognition among television viewers, while his work in broadcasting further established his presence in Ghana’s media landscape.
The actor also had a background in politics, having contested the Tarkwa-Nsuaem parliamentary seat on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress in the 2016 general elections.
His recent public appearance was at the launch of The 70 Slate, held at the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra on September 8, 2026.
That appearance attracted public attention, with some social media users expressing concern about his physical appearance and speculating about his health.
In response to earlier rumours about his condition, Dzokoto publicly dismissed reports claiming that he had died, urging the public and bloggers to verify information before publishing it.
