Media personality Nana Aba Anamoah has disclosed that she might not have chosen to have a child if she had known earlier what she knows now, explaining that she is content with having one child and wants to enjoy the life she has worked to build.
Speaking on Starr FM’s Morning Starr on Wednesday, October 28, which she co-hosts, Nana Aba said she had always wanted one child and had deliberately chosen not to expand her family.
“I always wanted one child and this may sound controversial but I keep saying that if I knew then what I know now, I wouldn’t have even had a child.”
The broadcaster explained that, although she could have had more children, she was comfortable with her decision to have only one, noting that she wanted to provide her child with the best of everything while maintaining the lifestyle she desired.
“I could have had a second, third, fourth, or fifth child but no, I don’t want that. I’m okay with one because I want to give that child the best of everything,” she said.
Nana Aba added that she had reached a stage where she was done paying school fees and could now focus on herself and enjoy the money she earns.
“At the moment, I’m done paying school fees. So, the focus is on me. I’m enjoying my money,” she disclosed.
She also cautioned people against naming their children after her on the assumption that she would be financially capable of supporting them.
