A section of Nigerian tweeps are not in support of their president’s late response to matters that have got them talking on social media for days.
Since last week, the citizens have been outraged after the level 100 student died from being raped and badly wounded while a teenager was shot and killed by the police.
They took to twitter expressing their anger with hashtags and stories of rape and injustices in the country.
Aside from online, some also walked with placards on the streets to seek justice for the girls.
Yesterday, Wizkid called out the president for being “clueless”.
In a tweet Tuesday, June 2 2020, Buhari said, “I would like to offer my deepest condolences to the family and friends of Uwaila Omozuwa. I expect the Nigeria Police Force to speedily and diligently investigate this case and ensure that all the culprits responsible for this barbaric act are brought to justice.”
