Nigerian Afrofusion star Damini Ogulu popularly known as Burna Boy has described Ghana as ‘the only place I actually have genuine peace’.
He made this known during a recent interview with Julie Adenuga on Apple Music’s ‘Up Next artist’.
Asked what the highlights of the year (2019) had been, and why Ghana, Burna Boy said, “Starting the year, going to Ghana. That’s the only place I have like actual genuine peace. When you go to Labadi beach and you’re looking at the water, there’s this line at the end where it separates the sky from the water, I feel like that’s where God lives.”
Aside finding genuine peace in Ghana, the Ye hit maker also found his current girlfriend Stefflon Don in Ghana early this year when the latter visited ahead of Fuse ODG’s TINA Festival.
Burna Boy during this interview opened up about growing up, being a goalkeeper, his music interest and more.
