A day after Ghana Weekend reported that some models in Fuse ODG’s ‘New African Girl’ had not been paid four months after shooting the video, they have duly been settled.
According to the models, KvngsOfTheNewSchool, the music video director David Nicol Sey who had been unyielding to demands to pay them their money, has finally done so.
Ghana Weekend‘s investigations proved that Fuse ODG had given David money to cater for all the models and that he had nothing to do with the non-payment to KvngsOfTheNewSchool.
The group had been chasing after the money since November, but to no avail.
According to Glenn, the leader, it got to a time, Nicol Sey’s manager told the group that he had forgotten that he hadn’t paid them.
This continued for a long time until after Ghana Weekend‘s story was published yesterday.
This issue brings to the fore, how some ‘marginalised’ creative artistes are taken for granted in the showbiz industry.
