Ghanaian pop/folk musician, Wanlov Da Kubolor has revealed that even though people perceive him to be a regular smoker because of his dreadlocks, he has only smoked weed one or two times.
Speaking on the ‘Atuu’ show with Abeiku Santana on UTV, the “Toto” singer revealed that the first time he tried it was in Uganda, he smoked 5 rolls but didn’t get high.
Speaking on the issue of “wee” Wanluv mentioned that is isn’t a bad thing because it has a healing power.
He also added that because of his dreadlocks, people assume he is a smoker. Recounting his first time experience, he narrated that the packaging of the weed that day got him interested after so many years of staying away from it. After smoking 5 rolls, Wanluv said he never got high.
Wanlov also narrated his second experience smoking “wee” which he said was in Tamale. According to him, his second time was unforgettable because he actually got so high that he slept for 3 days straight.
