Ghanaian gospel musician Joyce Blessing has won the Afro Fusion Gospel Song of Excellence award at the just ended Maranatha Global Worship Music Awards held in Nairobi Kenya.
Th award ceremony took place on Sunday 12th May, 2019.
She won the award with her song ‘Repent’.
Joyce Blessing took to her social media pages to express her excitement: “Honoured to be Honoured at MGWM Awards 2019 held in Nairobi, Kenya yesterday.
It’s a blessing to know that our music is not only inspiring Ghanaians but other people in other countries in our continent as well, a ministry well orchestrated by God to use some of us as a vessel to change, bless and inspire lives.
Thanks to the fans, my management and everyone supporting the Joyce Blessing ministry. Your prayers over the years have been fervent.”
Joyce was nominated in four categories and happens to be the only Ghanaian musician who won an award at the 4th edition.
This year’s Maranatha Global Worship Music Awards with the theme ‘Celebrating Excellence in Worship Music Ministry’ seeks to acknowledge authentic biblical worship music and to honor exceptional individuals from around the globe.
